UF Warrington adds marketing and business analytics to online master’s degree program options
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida is expanding its specialized master’s degree program offerings to include two new fully online versions. Starting in the fall of 2023, students can pursue an MS in marketing and an MS in business analytics from anywhere in the world.
Both programs are for students ranging from no work experience to years into their career who wish to further develop specialized skills in marketing or business analytics.
Officially titled the Master of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing, the one-year MS Marketing program is intended for students whose objective is to work in the field of marketing in a corporate, non-profit or entrepreneurial setting. The program offers courses spanning from broad marketing strategy considerations to more focused decision areas such as branding, pricing, customer relationship management and new product development.
The two-year MS Business Analytics program, officially the Master of Science in Information Systems and Operations Management with a concentration in business analytics, trains students to become translators of business functional needs into analytics processes and analyses. The STEM-accredited program prepares students for in-demand jobs at companies all over the world.
The MS Marketing and MS Business Analytics programs join three other UF Warrington specialized master’s programs that are also offered completely online including the Master of Science in Management, Master of International Business or Master of Science in Entrepreneurship. All five of these programs are also offered on campus.
A long-time leader in online education, the UF Warrington College of Business was one of the first schools to offer a fully accredited online degree in 1999. UF Warrington continues to be a pioneer in online education by further expanding its diverse degree options. Students that were once limited by personal time and location restrictions can now pursue a specialized business degree without ever having to visit the University of Florida campus.
“The flexible online setup allowed me to work a part-time job while in school,” said MSM online alumna Stevie Faulk. “After having full-time work experience in HR and as a manager of about 100 staff, I felt I needed a master’s degree to improve what I learned through working and become a more well-rounded manager.”
