From bachelor’s to master’s business degrees, the University of Florida is a top option for online programs, according to US News

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – In accordance with the University of Florida’s excellence among the best universities in the nation, the UF Warrington College of Business is a leader in online business education across its spectrum of degrees. According to the latest rankings from U.S. News & World Report, the UF Warrington College of Business’ online MBA, online master’s in business and online bachelor’s degree are among the top programs in the nation.

On the 2024 “Best Online Bachelor’s in Business” ranking, the UF Warrington College of Business is No. 1 in the nation for the second year in a row. Among its online graduate programs, the UF MBA program is No. 6 in the nation, and UF Warrington was ranked No. 18 on the “Best Online Master’s in Business” list, which includes degrees that are not MBA programs like master’s degrees in accounting, finance, marketing and management.

Since U.S. News began ranking online MBA programs in 2013, the UF MBA program has been ranked among the top 5 public online MBA degree options in the nation. UF MBA was also ranked the No. 3 online program for veterans by U.S. News. 

In addition to its overall ranking from U.S. News & World Report, UF MBA’s excellence in online degrees expands into specialized areas of business, like the in-demand fields of business analytics, finance, management and marketing. U.S. News ranked the UF MBA program among the best for:

• Marketing – No. 1 in the nation
• Business Analytics – No. 3 in the nation
• General Management – No. 4 in the nation
• Finance – No. 4 in the nation

To create its annual “Best Online MBA Programs” and “Best Online Master’s in Business” rankings, U.S. News sent surveys to the 356 schools that offer online MBAs and the 222 schools that offer non-MBA master’s degree programs in business. Both rankings are based on five weighted categories: Engagement (30%) Peer Assessment (25%), Student Excellence (15%), Faculty Credentials and Training (15%), and Services and Technology (15%).

In addition to being ranked among the best online graduate business programs, Warrington’s online bachelor’s degree program, offered in the Heavener School of Business in partnership with UF Online, was named the No. 1 program in the nation for the second year in a row. Overall, UF Online was ranked No. 1 among bachelor’s degree programs for veterans and No. 2 for bachelor’s degree programs.

As part of its partnership with UF Online, Warrington’s undergraduate school, the Heavener School of Business offers both an online Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (BABA). Through this partnership, students benefit by being exposed to some of the nation’s top professors, elite coursework, and leadership development opportunities, while earning their degree 100% online.

To create its list of best national online bachelor’s programs, U.S. News & World Report surveyed 348 schools that offer online bachelor’s degrees. The rankings were based on four weighted categories: Engagement (35%), Services and Technologies (25%), Faculty Credentials and Training (20%) and Peer Assessment (20%).

As highlighted by these rankings, and in parallel to its rise to the top on-campus programs, the University of Florida and the UF Warrington College of Business provide top-ranked, accessible and affordable educational excellence across all platforms. It is the highest-ranked university in Florida and is increasingly preeminent nationally, with The Wall Street Journal naming it the No. 1 public university in America.
