UF MBA Online named No. 1 program for veterans by US News
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Veterans interested in furthering their education through a graduate business degree need look no further than UF MBA for a top-ranked, affordable and accessible program. As ranked in U.S. News & World Report’s “2022 Best Online MBA Programs for Veterans,” UF MBA is the No. 1 program in the nation.
“Over the years, UF MBA has proudly been a part of numerous servicemen and servicewomen’s journey in taking the next step in their educational and leadership development,” said John Gresley, Assistant Dean and Director of UF MBA. “It makes us even more proud to know that these veteran and active-duty students and alumni now have even stronger degrees thanks to this ranking from U.S. News.”
UF MBA’s top ranking complements its host of other benefits for current or former military members. In addition to the ability to apply the Post-9/11 GI Bill® to any of UF MBA’s programs and the program’s commitment to accommodating servicemen and servicewomen with their military obligations through locked fees and enrollment positions, frequent program start options, set program lengths and flexible schedules, UF is a designated Yellow Ribbon school and has a dedicated Office of Veterans Services.
“Not a day goes by where the things I learned at UF MBA don’t surface somewhere along the way,” said Air Force veteran Paul Gourley. “I get a lot of respect when I sit in a room with businesspeople and am able to talk their language and understand how they tick. I consistently find myself referring back to what I learned at UF MBA.”
To create its annual “Best Online MBA Programs” rankings, U.S. News sent surveys to the 356 schools that offer online MBAs. The rankings were based on five weighted categories: Engagement (30%) Expert Opinion (25%), Student Excellence (15%), Faculty Credentials and Training (15%), and Student Services and Technology (15%).
