Introducing Warrington’s 2024-2025 teaching, advising, mentoring award winners
The University of Florida Warrington College of Business proudly announces the latest faculty and staff recognized for their excellence in teaching, advising and mentoring students across the college’s undergraduate and graduate programs.
Cindy Dosch is the recipient of the Undergraduate Teaching Award, Amanda Jackson is the recipient of the Undergraduate Advising Award and Max Dolinsky is the Faculty Advising/Mentorship Award winner. For graduate teaching and advising, Qing Li is this year’s Graduate Teaching Award winner and Meredith Hartig is the Graduate Advising Award winner.
Cindy Dosch
Dosch is a lecturer at the Fisher School of Accounting. She teaches various graduate and undergraduate accounting courses, most notably ACG3101: Financial Accounting and Reporting and ACG4111: Financial Accounting and Reporting 2. She serves as the faculty advisor for the Florida Students of Accounting Council (FSOAC). Dosch is licensed as a CPA in the state of Florida and spent several years in practice at EY before joining the faculty in 2022. She earned her Master of Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Accounting degrees from the University of Florida. Dosch was awarded the 2023-2024 J. Michael Cook Excellence in Teaching Award.

Amanda Jackson
Jackson has been passionately serving as an Academic and Career Advisor since January 2022, focusing on the success of transfer students at Heavener and Warrington. She has developed and implemented resources specifically designed to meet their unique needs, including facilitating Transfer Preview, planning welcome receptions, instituting first semester required academic planning meetings, and advocating for transfer student initiatives within her institutions. She reimagined and teaches the Transfer Success course each fall and spring semester to aid first-semester transfer students in their transition to Warrington.
Jackson loves what she does and is dedicated to helping her students thrive. Her dedication and passion were recognized in 2024 when she received the Outstanding New Advisor Certificate of Merit presented by UF Student Success. Jackson holds a Doctor of Education in Special Education from the University of Florida (2022), a Master of Education in Special Education from the University of North Florida (2013), and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of North Florida (2012).

Max Dolinsky
Dolinsky serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor and the Director of Undergraduate Finance Major Professional Development at the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business. In this dual role, Dolinsky combines his passion for finance education and student mentorship, guiding undergraduate students through professional development and preparing them for impactful careers in the financial industry. His responsibilities include mentoring students, building professional networks with alumni and employers, and co-facilitating corporate site visits in major cities such as Miami, New York City, Atlanta, Dallas, Orlando and Tampa.
Dolinsky teaches core courses Business Finance and Intro to Financial Planning, where he leverages his industry connections and extensive academic background to provide students with a comprehensive, real-world understanding of finance. Prior to returning to the University of Florida, Dolinsky held faculty positions as an Assistant Professor of Finance at both the University of Delaware and Central Michigan University.
An accomplished academic, Dolinsky holds a Ph.D. in Finance, an MBA, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, all from the University of Florida. His dedication to teaching and mentorship has been recognized with several awards, including the Student Choice Teaching Award (University of Delaware, 2022), the Giraffe Service Award (Central Michigan University, 2017-2018), and the Ph.D. Teaching Award (Warrington College of Business, University of Florida, 2016).
Qing Li
Li is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Eugene F. Brigham Department of Finance, Insurance, and Real Estate at the University of Florida. She holds a PhD in Real Estate Finance from the National University of Singapore and a bachelor’s degree in Financial Engineering from Nankai University.
Qing currently teaches an undergraduate course on Real Estate Investment Decision-Making and a graduate course, Primary Mortgage Market and Institutions, which is a core course in the MSRE program. From 2016 to 2019, she also taught Equity and Capital Market, a core course for finance undergraduate students. In addition to teaching, Qing conducts academic research in the areas of real estate and corporate finance. She received the Summer Competitive Research Award for three consecutive years, from 2022 to 2024.

Meredith Hartig
Hartig is the Academic Advisor for students pursing the Master of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, (known colloquially as the MS Marketing Program), where she helps students navigate the intricacies of graduate school and life in general. She began advising students in 2020 after trying out several other career paths, including mental health therapist, high school physics teacher, and inventory control trainer at Apple, Inc., among others. She has worked with MS Marketing Program students for just over two years, when she came over from UF’s Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering. Hartig has worked with close to 1,000 Gators as they achieved their academic goals, and she is honored to challenge students and make a difference during their graduate program experience.
Hartig earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia and her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida. She moved to the US in 2001 for her undergraduate program, after being raised in Germany as the child of two career civil servants. When not working with students, Hartig volunteers as a middle school Girl Scout Troop Leader and enjoys spending as much time as possible with her husband, an Associate Professor at UF, her daughter, and her dog.
