This year brought us many reminders to why it’s great to be a Florida Gator. From our faculty being named among the top scientists in the world to the Class of 2022-2023 earning excellent jobs and high salaries, Business Gators made the most of 2023.

ChatGPT can’t see the future, but it already has value for investors looking to predict future moves in the stock market. That’s according to a research paper by Assistant Professor Alejandro Lopez-Lira and Emerson-Merrill Lynch Association Professor Yuehua Tang.

US News: University of Florida MBA offers fourth best ROI in the nation

With a salary-to-debt ratio of 4.9-to-1, the UF MBA Full-Time program is the fourth best in the nation for return on investment. In 2022, UF MBA reported graduates earning an average salary and signing bonus within three months of graduation of $135,232 while their average debt was $27,376.

In 1985, Fisher gifted $6.8 million to the University of Florida to formally establish the Fisher School of Accounting, which was the largest gift to any state university in Florida at the time. His leadership and generosity have forever impacted the Warrington College of Business.
